The Driscoll Family Tour has come to a screeching halt! The truck broke down and we need to raise $5000 for repairs. I have a few prints, print sets, and flash for sale HERE  You can also donate by clicking the yellow button on the side bar! I also have room for some new tattoo clients, you can EMAIL ME HERE if you're interested.
PLEASE HELP OUR FAMILY GET BACK ON THE ROAD!

I'm also starting The Sleeve Project! I'm looking for 10 people to take part. Each person gets a sleeve tattoo (either arm, or leg some cover ups ok!), the original full color illustration of their sleeve and a set of prints of all 10 sleeve illustrations. They will also be in a book documenting the entire process, and get a free copy of the book! All for only $5000
I'll only be doing 100 sets of the prints, and 100 copies of the book!
Please email me HERE

So I just got this up on the www.driscollfamilytour.com page, its going to be the blog for the tour (but it was my old blog, you can check out old posts) but for now it will be the site for the tour!
This up date will just be short and sweet. Either Danielle or I (Craig) will be updating, and I'm sure Danielle's will be far better then mine.
I'll also be posting dates and spots to get tattooed at, so keep up with the site if you are looking to get tattooed. right now I'm tattin at Hold Fast in Redwood City, fucking great shop, and I'll be in Grass Vally next at Cory Norris' shop.

OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW!

Ok, so I closed the shop at 449 University Ave for a ton of reasons, but the biggest reason is I would like to do things better, and on my own. At the last shop I found that I was working on things for the other guys far too much, and compromising my dream far to much. Now i hope to be able to do the things i want to artistically, and with out financial compromise. I found a new spot, way off the beaten bath, without a store front, and without a street shop feel. I'll be working out of a warehouse space just north of my house. heres a sneak peak

I know it doesn't look like much now, but it will! I'll be able to do all my work there, build machines, paint, and tattoo, so stoked.

So since i closed the shop i've had some time to do some things, like paint, and draw, and hang out with the girls.

Zoey, and Sara

This is the newish art i'm doing, prints and paintings available on my SITE

I'm working on apparel as well.

Last, but not least, TATTOOS

AUG 23 2010

Ok, so its been way too long since I've posed anything on here. Now I have no idea where to start.

I guess the big things are the machines, the new car, and some paintings, so I'll go in that order

MACHINES
So I've never really had a great collection of tattoo machines, and have always loved them. In the last few months I've gotten my hands on some great machines, some I bought, and some I traded for.

Aaron has been one of my favorite artist for the last 18 years, so I'm stoked to have gotten to trade some art with him.
These are the machines I got from Aaron, they run as great as they look

This one I was lucky enough to have Aaron let me sit in on building it with him, and he let me carve the side plate.

This is what I traded for

Seth has been making some of the best tattoo machines in the business for over a decade, he made these for me, the run great, and look amazing, I'll be getting more from him soon!

Soba, and Workhorse Irons are one of the best suppliers to tattooers in the word today. I've been friends with Soba for over 10 years now, and finally traded some art with him.

In return I did this

I've never met Mike, but have heard great things about his zappers, and picked up a pair

MY NEW RIDE
Ever since I was kid playing punch buggy I have always wanted a bug.
THE GRINCH is my '57 oval

This last one is my sister in law

PAINTINGS
Well I've been painting as much as I can, but find myself ether wanting to hang out in the workshop, or with the kids

I did these on trade a few years ago, however I never got my painting out of the deal, so the guy gave them back, I sold them

I also did a small run of prints of them, 25 sets, available on my SITE $150 a set
Some other stuff

I'm doing a matching girl to go with the SHERIFF and I'll have a small run of prints

I did this for Fip at AVALON 2

FIVE TWO TATTOO MACHINES

Ok, so I've been working on machines myself, this is my workshop, and the first machines I've made

So this was the first one I made, the geometry was a little off, so I scraped it

So this first 8 worked out well, there light, and they run great. now I have an idea how the tools work, I'll start really developing my own style of machine

If your interested in machines, please email me HERE

I got a small spread of paintings in TATTOO MAGAZINE
