OK, so I haven't updated for a long ass time, and a lot has gone on. I think I'm going to try updating more often, because I forgot half the shit I wanted to blog.
I guess I'll start out with the trip. Danielle, Zoey and I went up to nor-cal to visit the Cain's, what a great place to go. I haven't seen snow in over 4 years, but there it was! Like a foot of it, and seeing how Aaron does what he does is awe inspiring. He is truly my favorite artist! His wife Christine is great, I had never met her before. She was a great host, and an amazing chef. Aaron and I worked on machines a little, but it was really hectic, and I didn't take any photos sorry.
TATTOO PRODIGIES, is a book by Mike DeVries, and its got tattooers from all over. Its a really well put together book, and theres a small section with me in it, so please pick one up
THE LINE UP
I didn't get to go, but I got to participate. Looks like it was a great show, JEFF GOGUE is fast becoming my favorite tattooer.
Also JOE CAPOBIANCO is having a STAR WARS ART SHOW. Ya know I'm all about that, so keep an eye out for it
TANNER KUNZ is the new guy at the shop. Since I'm taking some time off from tattooing he'll be picking up the slack at the shop. Check out his shit, he's a good egg.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
JEFF GOGUE RECENTLY HAD AN ART SHOW SHOWCASING LINEWORK FROM SEVERAL TATTOOERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, AND I GOT TO TAKE PART. GOING THROUGH ALL THE LINE WORK AND ARCHIVED ART I HAVE, I REALIZED THAT I HAVE A TON. WITH OUR SECOND BABY COMING, NOT ONLY DO WE NEED THE ROOM, BUT ALSO THE EXTRA MONEY.
I HAVE DRAWINGS RANGING FROM SIMPLE LITTLE SKETCHES TO FULL COLOR RENDERINGS. FROM AS FAR BACK AS 97, AND SOME I JUST FINISHED. I'M VERY PROUD TO SAY THAT NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THESE IS SOMEONE'S TATTOO.
